Former Spartak Moscow footballer Valery Gladilin believes that it is not a problem for Lokomotiv Moscow forward Artem Dzyuba to become a coach in the future, but it will not be easy for him to master the profession.

On Saturday, Dzyuba took part in a fan meeting as part of the Moscow Sports Day and, answering questions from fans, said that in the future he wants to try himself as a coach.

“Why can’t he do it?” He knows football, the topic is familiar to him. It’s not a problem for him. The main thing is how he will master this profession. It will be hard with his character and ambitions. But he has character, purposefulness. Everything will depend on him,” Gladilin told Gazeta.Ru.

Dzyuba joined the railroad in February 2023. The forward played 11 matches last season, scoring eight goals and providing five assists. Lokomotiv finished the league in eighth place with 45 points.

At the end of May, Dzyuba, who will turn 35 in August, signed a new agreement with the Moscow club until the end of the 2023/24 season with the possibility of an extension for another year.
