Renowned Russian coach Boris Ignatiev told RB Sport that Marcel Lichka, who recently took charge of Dynamo Moscow, will face a lot of pressure.
On June 22, the Blue and White announced the appointment of Lichka as the head coach of the team. Previously, the 45-year-old specialist headed Orenburg.
– It’s great that Lichka nevertheless headed Dynamo – it will be interesting to look at this team under the guidance of a Czech specialist. Last season, Lichka achieved an unexpected result with Orenburg, he really transformed the team. The question is whether he will be able to do the same with Dynamo. Here he will have a more difficult task, because the club needs an instant result after a bad season.
At Dynamo, Lichka will face a lot of pressure, completely different than at Orenburg. The Moscow team has players of a different level, with different requests. But I think he has to deal with it. The football that Lichka staged at Orenburg made a good impression,” Ignatiev said.
The new RPL season starts on July 21-23. In the first round, Dynamo will play at home with Krasnodar.
