Spartak needs a central defender instead of Duarte – Shikunov

The former sports director of Spartak, Alexander Shikunov, told Sport Day after Day that the Red-Whites should strengthen the position of the central defender.
– Do you think Spartak needs to be strengthened for the position of a central defender?
– Of course, there is a need for a central defender, that’s for sure.
– Duarte, bought in the winter, does not cope?
— To be honest, for now, yes (laughs). Plus, Tavares broke down, even though he is an extreme defender. Some more talk that Khlusevich could go to Lazio.
Spartak in the 2022/23 season became the bronze medalist of the Russian Championship. The last time the Red-Whites became Russian champions was in 2017.
The first round of the new season WORLD RPL will be held on July 21-23.
