Vladislav Bezborodov was named the best referee for the 2022/23 season, according to the website of the Russian Football Union (RFU).
The 50-year-old referee has played 26 matches in the RPL WORLD, including the FONBET Russian Cup Superfinal between Krasnodar and CSKA.
– Referee of the FIFA category Vladislav Bezborodov received the best average score for the matches worked at the end of the 2022/23 season. The result was formed from the assessments of match inspectors, taking into account the decisions of the expert referee commission of the RFU.
The second place at the end of the season was taken by Pavel Kukuyan. The 41-year-old referee worked 24 matches, including both meetings between Spartak and Zenit in the RPL WORLD. Sergey Karasev took the third place. Last season he worked 23 matches as the chief referee.
Among the referees who spent from 1 to 4 seasons in the RPL, the rating was headed by Artem Chistyakov, Alexey Amelin and Pavel Shadykhanov. Among the debutants of the 2022/23 season are Rafael Shafeev, Roman Safyan and Sergey Cheban.
