The Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation supported the return of beer to stadiums
Russian Sports Minister Oleg Matytsin said that the department sees no difficulties in connection with the return of beer sales at stadiums.
Earlier, the head of the Russian Premier League (RPL), Alexander Alaev, spoke about the desire of the clubs to return beer to the stadiums, adding that the league hopes for a positive decision of the State Duma of the Russian Federation on this issue.
— What is your attitude to the return of beer to the stadiums?
– If the regulations are correctly spelled out, we do not mind. I don’t see any difficulties or any barriers to resolving this issue,” a Match TV correspondent reports Matytsin’s words.
According to Dmitry Svishchev, head of the State Duma Committee on Physical Culture and Sports, the legislature will consider lifting the ban on beer sales at stadiums in the second and third readings during the autumn session.
