Now the Germans have a lot of work to do before the start of the new campaign, including in the transfer market. It is necessary to complete the team already under Thomas Tuchel.
Strengthen the defense line
Monaco are leading two players at once and both deals are close to completion. Particular attention should be paid to negotiations with Napoli about Korean central defender Kim Min-jae – initially a completely different club was the favorite in the fight for the player. United followed the player in the spring, started negotiations in May (then there was talk of a release offer in the amount of 60 million euros), and already in early June, the defender agreed on the details of the contract with the Mancunians. Subsequently, he went to the army: they planned to announce the transition after the end of the service.
And at that moment, the Munich team suddenly seized the initiative. The German giant was ready to meet the financial needs of the Neapolitans, plus Kim liked the project being built at Bayern – the parties had no problems in contract negotiations. In early July, information appeared that the deal was closed: Bayern will pay Napoli 50 million euros, all that remains is to sign the documents.
Another potential newcomer is Kyle Walker. The Englishman, even at 33, remains an important part of Pep Guardiola’s system at Manchester City, and therefore the “citizens” are negotiating an extension of the agreement with the player. At the same time, Bayern came into contact with the defender. On the right edge there is also the choice of two players (Benjamin Pavard and Nussair Mazraoui), but the situation is more complicated. The French footballer no longer intends to stay in the German Grand and has long wanted to change teams – now he is one of the candidates to leave. Among the contenders for the player are Manchester United with Juventus, but there is another option: to replace Walker at Manchester City. The “citizens” consider this option a priority, the figure of Benjamin can significantly help in the negotiations with the “blues”.
The epic with Kane
The push forward was also needed for Bayern when the Germans released Robert Lewandowski to Barça. Bayern tried to spend a year without a profile attacking tip and realized that it would be easier with it.

On the other hand, the Londoners broke an astronomical price and have already rejected two offers from the Germans – despite the fact that the footballer still has a year left on his current contract and does not want to continue his career, it would no longer be logical to wait for the next one summer and secure a free transfer?
Tuchel must make everyone forget about Nagelsmann
Thomas was in an unenviable position. He in himself is an excellent coach, especially if it is necessary to solve the club’s problems in a short time. But he came to Bayern to take the place of Julian Nagelsmann, whose dismissal raised big questions: under him, the Munich team gave results, retained its leadership in the championship and confidently climbed Champions League.
The negative from the club’s management decision was transferred to the new mentor, plus a weak segment in April, departure from the main European Cup. There is no need to fear for the prospects in the Bundesliga. For Tuchel, the world title is a minimum commitment. But in Champions League it takes more than just reaching the playoffs or even the quarterfinals. After a large-scale summer signing, the coach will have to fight for the “eared cup” – and the competition will be serious.
