Former Krasnodar midfielder Yevgeny Shipitsin said he supported the decision of the Russian midfielder Daler Kuzyaev to move to the French Le Havre from Zenit.
On Wednesday, Kuzyaev, as a free agent, moved to a new club. The agreement with the 30-year-old football player is calculated until 2025.
– I fully support Kuzyaev’s decision. He can always return to Russia, and Europe is Europe anyway. Therefore, I believe that Kuzyaev made the right choice. Yes, maybe he lost in money. Kuzyaev played for the St. Petersburg “Zenith” for six years. In the 2022/23 season, the midfielder made 35 appearances for the Blues in all competitions, scoring five goals and five assists.
