“We have one task – to win in every match” – the president of “Ural” Ivanov
Ural President Grigory Ivanov spoke about the team’s goals for the new RPL season.
Last season, the Yekaterinburg club led by Viktor Gancharenko took 11th place with 36 points.
– We have one task – to win in every match, to show a good game, to please the fans. We do not set specific goals.
– What about some places? Maybe compete for the top 10 for the first time since 2019?
– What for? There is one place – the first and the last two that fly out. The rest are not so interesting. The most important thing is that we show a good game and be liked by the fans,” Ivanov said, quoted by RB Sport.
In the first round of the MIR RPL, Match TV will show three matches live: Lokomotiv – Rubin (July 22, 17:15 Moscow time), Akhmat – Wings of the Soviets (July 22, 19:45 Moscow time) and Sochi – Baltika (July 23, 19:45 Moscow time). Broadcasts of league games can also be watched on the thematic channels of the holding and on matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru websites.
