“Kuzyaev’s transfer to Le Havre negatively affects the status and price of our football” – Sozin

Football expert Dmitry Sozin believes that the transfer of Russian midfielder Daler Kuzyaev to French Le Havre could reduce the average market value of Russian contracts for European clubs.

According to Sport24, Kuzyaev will receive 350 thousand euros per season in the French club.

– A few days have passed since Kuzyaev signed a contract with Le Havre. Enthusiasm and praise slowly subside, figures begin to appear. I do not like to count other people’s money, Kuzyaev’s salary is his business. But it will also affect the rest of us here.

I’ll say right away: the fact that Daler left his comfort zone, left for the top 5 and will play against PSG is great, well done for not being scared. Here I support those who praise him. But 350 thousand euros per year? Daler is a well-deserved person in our football. One of the strongest football players, national team player, multiple champion. If he leaves for free with that kind of money, then what about the rest? How much then should the conditional Erokhin, Chistyakov or Chalov cost? In Europe, they will look and say: guys, one of your best players left for a weak club from France for free, why should we pay more for you? Such a transition, not in terms of choosing a team, but in terms of finances, greatly affects the image, the status of our football, the price of our players. And it affects negatively.

The situation turns out to be twofold: I would like to praise Daler for taking a risk, but it’s a shame that our players can now depreciate, ”Sozin told the Championship.

Kuzyaev played for the St. Petersburg “Zenith” for six years. In the 2022/23 season, the midfielder made 35 appearances for the Blues in all competitions, scoring five goals and five assists.

The player’s contract with the Russian club expired at the end of June this year. The parties decided not to extend the cooperation.

Vasily Kobin could go to Dnepr and play in the Europa League final

football journalist Igor Tsyganyk He told the details of the long-standing transfer story regarding the possible transfer of Vyacheslav Kobin to Dnepr.

According to him, when Dnipro club had to choose between Artem Fedetsky and Vyacheslav Kobin, Kobin was the first choice to strengthen the squad.

Tsyganyk stated that the football player could really be transferred to Dnieper and noted that they made him an offer in the first place. According to the journalist, in the event of such a transfer, Kobin could even play in the 2015 Europa League final, but ultimately the transfer did not take place.

The journalist emphasized that the failure of the transition was not related to financial conditions. According to his information, salaries in Shakhtar and Dnepr were approximately the same. The reasons why the transfer did not take place lie on a different level, but the details of this situation are not reliably known.

According to Tsyganik, Dnepr considered Kobin as a priority option, but the transition was never implemented. Artem Fedetsky played for Dnepr from 2012 to 2016. In the 2014/15 Europa League final, Dnepr lost to the Spanish team Sevilla (2:3).
