Former Spartak player about Karpin: “He is top, and I will always talk about it”

Former Spartak football player Sergey Bryzgalov told why he considers Valery Karpin a top coach.

Bryzgalov played for Spartak from 2011 to 2016. Since 2019, the footballer has been playing for Fakel.

– You have always said that Karpin is a top coach for you. What is its phenomenon?

– I will say now that he is top, and I will always talk about it. Valery Georgievich himself went the way of a football player, performed in Europe. He knows and has seen a lot. Discipline always comes to the fore, both on and off the field. I myself am a supporter of the fact that discipline should be present everywhere.

In general, Karpin is strong as a coach. Anyhow, no one will be invited to coach the Russian national team. With the same Spartak, he twice won silver (of the Russian championship), participated in the Champions League. In “Rostov” he once again proves his level. Moreover, it is possible to achieve results with a younger composition.

– Is it different in training and in everyday life?

– Naturally! About what he said earlier: discipline on the football field is above all. There he is demanding. Outside of it, he can always joke and talk with the players on any topic!

– Is there a story that vividly characterizes him?

– A lot of those. I remember when we won 3:2 in St. Petersburg against Zenit. Then he harshly expressed to one of the legionnaires: “Why does your partner run back at maximum speed and work on it, and an opponent runs past you, and you stand and watch?” In my opinion, he even immediately replaced him during the break. That is, he clearly showed that if you don’t want to fulfill the requirements and give yourself up, then you won’t play.

It is clear that there is a technical and tactical marriage, but to lose a single combat and not reach it – you could fly for it (laughs), – the Match TV website quotes Bryzgalov as saying.

Gasperini: Europe has suffered losses against other teams, including Italy

Head coach Romi Gian Piero Gasperini commented on his team’s victory in the European League match against Celtic (3:0).

“It’s never easy getting around these beautiful, historic fields. It wasn’t easy to make money here. Celtic won the series on home ground. Europe has played matches against other teams, including Italy. This allows you to encounter even stronger attackers. In European cups, football is completely different.

Pisilli, Ferguson and Resta Gravtsev, who made changes to the warehouse, showed good work. It gives the opportunity to expand the warehouse. Now we have to make important judgments before we can make money in games that have major consequences.

Under the hour, Ferguson was afraid to do what he had to do in training. He is a young boy and we must exercise patience. Yogo another goal but miracles. He has shown a beautiful game, and it is important that he does not act in this mood and shows his best genius.

We must be patient. Young boys can show themselves at their best. It might be better this way, just put it out there. We’ll talk about today’s transfer soon, and we still have some important games ahead of us.

How will Roma cope with the loss of El-Ainau and N’Dika at the African Cup of Nations? We’ll know tomorrow if it goes away. We would like the stink to stay with us against Como, otherwise if there were any other games we would be left without two key players. “Today we were convinced that the smell is even more important,” Gasperina quotes Voetbal-Italia.
