“Tobol” is ready to be strengthened by Russian players, said Kanchelskis

Tobol General Director Andrey Kanchelskis told RB Sport that the club is ready to be strengthened by Russian players.
Last week, the appointment of 54-year-old Kanchelskis as the general director of Tobol was announced.
– I’m still slowly delving into the work, they bring me up to date. As for the selection, the final decision is up to the head coach – who is needed and who is not. I have in mind a couple of candidates from Russia, we offered them to the coach. Let’s see how things turn out. The transfer window in Kazakhstan closes in a week, there is still time. We are ready to be strengthened by Russian football players,” Kanchelskis said.
On Thursday, “Tobol” won a strong-willed victory over “Honka” with a score of 2:1 at the home stadium in the first match of the 1st qualifying round of the Conference League. The return match will take place on July 20.
