Bosnian defender Yasmin Celikovich had no doubts before moving to Grozny Akhmat, football agent Mladen Ratkovica told RB Sport.
Celikovich moved to Akhmat from Tuzla City on loan until the end of the 2023/24 season.
“I would not say that it was a difficult deal, except that it took some time to discuss the buyout option, and it was also about whether it would be a loan or a full-fledged transfer,” says Ratkovitsa. – In the end, we settled on a lease, I think this is the best option for all parties. Yasmin is glad that he managed to move to a club like Akhmat, he wants to make his debut in official matches as soon as possible.
– Does Chelikovich have any fears that after the performances in Russia, the road to the national team may be closed to him?
– No, he did not have a single doubt before the transfer to Akhmat and his arrival in Russia. There are several Balkan guys in the club, he discussed everything with them, asked them about everything and heard only good things. So he didn’t even think about not going.
Last season, Celikovich played 37 matches and scored four goals.
The new season of MIR RPL starts on July 21. In the first round, the Grozny team will meet at home with the Samara Wings of the Soviets.
