“While you are fighting, you have not lost” – Gazizov about the trial with Fedun

The former general director of Spartak Shamil Gazizov told Sport24 that he intends to go all the way in the history of litigation with the Moscow club and the ex-owner of the red and white Leonid Fedun.

Gazizov served as the CEO of Spartak from July to December 2020. In June of this year, Spartak lawyer Tatyana Zavyalova told Match TV that the Moscow club had recovered 93 million rubles from Gazizov, the amount he paid himself on his last day of work. Earlier, Zavyalova confirmed to Match TV that Gazizov had already filed the seventh lawsuit against Spartak, this time in the amount of 359 million 910 thousand rubles.

– How long are you ready to sue Spartak?

“Yes, I don’t want to sue anyone at all. I’m not interested, this is a law firm.

– Can you imagine a situation in which you say: “We are finishing, guys, nothing will work out already?”

– If you were thrown, what would you do?

I argued, but at some point my patience would run out.

While you are fighting, you have not lost. I don’t want to say who is right and who is wrong. I want to say that if you are sure that you are right, you must go to the end. You can lose in different ways. But if you didn’t accept the challenge, you’re worthless. Like in football: yes, you can lose, but you must do it with dignity. Or you can say: “I’m being sued,” and leave.

What will you do if you don’t win?

– Nothing. Lose – well, okay. If the end is put, I will say that I did not have the opportunity and strength to fight for justice.
