“Fedotov is a non-conflict person. The departure of the players is not related to his character “- Tarkhanov
Former CSKA head coach Alexander Tarkhanov told Sport Day after Day that the potential departure from the army team of midfielder Jorge Carrascal may be due to the fact that the club does not need him.
– The departure of any player is a loss. Carrascal started well enough, and then he passed a little. Probably, CSKA doesn’t need him, so they let him go.
– What do you think, where is it better for Carrascal to go: to Dynamo or to Zenit?
– Probably better in Dynamo. There are already enough foreigners and good level players in Zenit. He can play in Dynamo.
– Can Vladimir Fedotov be called a conflict coach? It was said that Medina left CSKA due to a conflict with the coach.
– I know him a little (laughs). He is a non-confrontational person. It is clear that he is a coach. If a player resists something or something, then it is better to remove this player from the team.
– That is, the departure of the players is not connected with the character of Fedotov?
– Of course not. If a player does not fulfill the requirements of the coach, then it is better to remove such a player.
– Can the second potential transfer of a football player to a competitor in the fight for the championship be called a miss by CSKA?
Carrascal rarely played lately. He came out for substitutions. Maybe CSKA no longer needs him, so they let him go quietly.
The Colombian has been playing for the Red-Blues since the winter of 2022. In the 2022/23 season, 25-year-old Carrascal played 34 matches for CSKA, scored six goals and made six assists.
The new season of the MIR RPL starts on July 21 with the Dynamo-Krasnodar match. Match TV will show live three matches of the first round: Lokomotiv – Rubin (July 22, 17:15), Akhmat – Sovetov Wings (July 22, 19:45) and Sochi – Baltika (July 23, 19:45).
