Neftchi captain Makhmudov said he never regretted changing his citizenship
Midfielder and captain of the Azerbaijani “Neftchi” Emin Mahmudov said that he was satisfied with everything after the change of sports citizenship.
At the end of 2016, Makhmudov changed his Russian citizenship to Azerbaijani.

Mahmudov moved to Neftchi in 2017. Previously, the midfielder played in Russia and played for Spartak and Wings of the Soviets.
On Tuesday, Neftchi played a friendly match with Spartak, which ended with the victory of the Red-Whites with a score of 2:0. On July 1, Neftchi played with Zenit in the PARI Premier Cup and lost with a score of 1:3.
