Former Anji forward Shamil Lakhiyalov believes that Russian specialist Stanislav Cherchesov will soon find a new job after his dismissal from the post of head coach of the Hungarian Ferencváros.

On Wednesday, Ferencváros lost at home with a score of 0:3 to the Faroese Klaksvik in the second leg of the 1st qualifying round of the Champions League and dropped out of the tournament. After the game, the president of the Hungarian club, Gabor Kubatov, held a personal meeting with Cherchesov. It was decided to leave the Russian specialist from the post of head coach.

– Such is the fate of coaches. You can work for a whole year to make your team a champion and take it to the most prestigious European tournament, but then, after losing one match, lose your job. On the other hand, in any club, after a home defeat from the Faroese team with a big score, they would have decided to resign the head coach, despite his past merits. But I do not think that this will hit the image of Stanislav Salamovich hard.

Most likely, Cherchesov will find a new job in the near future. It is unlikely that a club from the top five European championships will probably offer him the position of head coach in Eastern Europe or somewhere in Russia, – Euro-Futbol.Ru quotes Lakhiyalov.

The new season of the MIR RPL starts on July 21 with the Dynamo-Krasnodar match. Match TV will show live three matches of the first round: Lokomotiv – Rubin (July 22, 17:15), Akhmat – Sovetov Wings (July 22, 19:45) and Sochi – Baltika (July 23, 19:45).
