Krasnodar head coach Vladimir Ivic said he would not interfere with midfielder Eduard Spertsyan if he decides to move to a European club.
Earlier it was reported about the interest in the 23-year-old midfielder from the top clubs in the Netherlands.
– Three days ago there was news that Spertsyan would not leave Krasnodar. This is true? The game is built around him.
“Of course, it is very important to us. You don’t even have to waste time talking about it. I think he’s the best midfielder in the league. How good he is as a player is as good as a person. I wish him all the best. Glad he’s with us. But I won’t stop a player if he wants to go to Europe. I am glad that my players are of interest to clubs from the leading championships, – Match TV reports the words of Ivic.
Krasnodar beat Dynamo Moscow 3-1 on Friday in the first round of the WORLD RPL.
– The game before our first goal was 50 to 50. Dynamo had a couple of shots from afar, but our goalkeeper played well. Before the first goal, both teams did not play at the highest pace, but still this is the first match of the season.
I will say that all the players played well. In the middle of the field, I want to note that we created an advantage. We had creativity with the ball, John (Cordoba) scored the first goal, passed the second one. Batchi and Ilzat (Akhmetov) played well, but not at their highest level. Then they will be able to show themselves even better, – said the Krasnodar coach on Match TV.
In 28 league games last season, Spertsyan scored 10 goals and provided 11 assists.
