Football agent Alexei Safonov, representing the interests of Dynamo striker Konstantin Tyukavin, spoke about negotiations to extend the contract with the Blue and White and the player’s desire to leave for Europe.
In the opening round of the WORLD RPL season 2023/24, Dynamo lost to Krasnodar with a score of 1:3. Tyukavin scored an assist in this meeting.
– Tukavin’s contract with Dynamo ends after this season. Has the negotiation process for an extension started?
– I don’t want to talk about Tyukavin for the next three or five rounds. I will not run to any club and ask to be taken somewhere. If there is an offer, we will talk.
– How much does the example of Kuzyaev and his move to France inspire Tyukavin? Is he willing to take a pay cut to play in a top 5 European league?
– For us – not an example. Kostya will not go to Europe for a salary 10 times less. He’s 21, don’t forget. Tyukavin will not go anywhere to play for food. I respect Le Havre and the choice of Daler Kuzyaev. How many times has he won the championship already? Eight times? If he wanted to play for the experience, why not? Perhaps this will help him later in his coaching career.
– And yet, Tyukavin is one of the main Russian assets of the RPL now. Have European clubs already indicated interest?
– They said it was normal. You know, people do things differently, but I don’t want to be like an arms race and stuff. There will be specifics, we will talk about it. To promise does not mean to marry, – Metaratings.ru quotes Safonov.
Last season, Tyukavin played 38 matches for Dynamo, in which he scored ten goals and made seven assists.
Match TV will show live three matches of the first round: Lokomotiv – Rubin (July 22, 17:15), Akhmat – Sovetov Wings (July 22, 19:45) and Sochi – Baltika (July 23, 19:45).
