“Schennikov is not going to end his career” – agent
Former defender of the Russian national team Georgy Shchennikov does not plan to end his football career, football agent Sergey Pushkin told RB Sport.
Shchennikov left CSKA at the end of the 2022/23 season due to the expiration of his contract.
– Now I can say that there are no specifics. But I can definitely assure you: Georgy is not going to end his career. It is prepared individually, prepared. Everything can change at any moment. There are no interesting offers at the moment. The window is large, there is still time,” the agent said.
32-year-old Shchennikov is a graduate of CSKA and spent 20 years at the club. In total, he played 367 matches for the club and won 10 trophies with him.
