Dynamo midfielder Matthias Normann intends to terminate the contract with the Moscow club and has already left Russia, said Pavel Pivovarov, general director of the Blue and Whites.
The Norwegian became a Dynamo player, having moved from Rostov on loan in September 2022. The lease agreement, as reported by Match TV, is valid until August 20. As part of the Moscow team, the midfielder took part in 18 matches in all competitions.
– Norman sent a notice to Dynamo and Rostov about the termination of the contract due to the fact that drones crashed into the Moscow City building. Referring to these circumstances, he left the country, ostensibly for the purpose of his security. We do not agree with his position, together with Rostov we are preparing for arbitration. Norman awaits trial. He lived not far from this place, but it was his choice. The club offered him a relocation rather quickly.
He did not help us in the last matches, his contract ends next week. Both we and Rostov will defend our interests. He said goodbye to everyone at the base, said “see you tomorrow”, then we received a letter from his lawyer. Rostov and I will discuss a strategy for legal actions, – the Match TV website reports Pivovarov’s words.
