Brentford vs Tottenham Premier League game delayed due to stadium water problem
The match of the first round of the championship of England on football between “Brentford” and “Tottenham” began with a delay of seven minutes due to problems with the water supply at the stadium.
Before the start of the game, the press service of the hosts said that they were solving “the problem associated with the supply of water to the arena, which affects all related facilities.” The teams entered the field on time, but the referee Robert Jones postponed the start of the game. According to Talksport, there was a complete lack of water supply at all facilities in the arena – from toilets to the kitchen – but the problem was fixed in the 9th minute of the game.
On Saturday, the start of the Premier League match between London’s Arsenal and Nottingham Forest was postponed for half an hour due to the breakdown of the turnstiles at the entrance to the stadium.
