Sunday’s final match in the WORLD of the Russian Premier League was a real test for promising CSKA midfielder Kirill Glebov. The 17-year-old football player suffered a painful injury in a harmless situation. The Red-Blues player was leaving the VEB Arena on a stretcher.

Protector’s Hellish Pains

Kirill Glebov can hardly be called a player of the main team of CSKA. But in the match of the fourth round of the RPL, Vladimir Fedotov released a young player from the very first minutes. The flank player worked pretty well for a 17-year-old boy. While he was present on the field, the opponents could not score a single goal.

Unfortunately, Glebov was destined to play only one half. Already in stoppage time, he received a blow in the lower back from the Sochi player Artur Yusupov. After contact with an experienced midfielder, Kirill collapsed on the lawn as if knocked down and grabbed his lower back. At the same time, he screamed loudly.

It’s good that after the fall, Kirill was out of bounds. Doctors immediately ran up to him and began to provide medical assistance. This went on for several minutes, until the whistle for a break. All this time the young footballer was on the lawn. The damage turned out to be so serious that Glebov could not even go to the locker room on his own. The limping football player was taken under the arms of the doctors.

Vladimir Fedotov stood up for the young football player. He spoke in a raised tone with the side referee, accusing him of a missed violation of the rules. The claims of the head coach of the “red-blue” were understandable: Yusupov was not even shown a yellow card.

After the match, footage appeared on the Internet of how the injured Glebov was loaded into an ambulance. It is not yet known what the nature of the injury is and for how long the young footballer was out, but Kirill did not look too good: both in the room under the stands and when leaving the stadium. The only consolation for Glebov should be the result of the match. CSKA won with a score of 3:1.
