Boris Ignatiev condemned Akhmat’s decision to fire coach Tashuev

The former head coach of the Russian national team Boris Ignatiev does not support the resignation of Sergei Tashuev from Akhmat.

– There is no result, and the coach is always the first to suffer. So Tashuev became the punishment for the unsuccessful results of the team. Management compared the results of last season and this one. I condemn this decision. It doesn’t affect anything. Not everyone understands that changes are difficult to achieve in the next few rounds. It was necessary to wait. But not as little as 4-5 rounds, – Ignatiev told Sport Day by Day.

– No, this is generally a global football practice. But in Russia, coaches are most often removed. If there were changes in performance after such layoffs, then there would be no questions. But that’s not how it happens. I do not support such resignations.

Tashuev headed Akhmat in September 2022. However, this season the team, after five matches in the WORLD RPL, is in 12th place with three points. And in the Russian Cup Grozny suffered two defeats in two games.
