“He will become a star, beware!” Zakharyan’s transfer delighted Europeans

Both fans and journalists speak highly of the Russian.

Arsen Zakharyan was hunted by several big clubs at once. Real Sociedad ended up winning this race. Now European fans are looking forward to the Russian joining the team.

Many are sure: Arsene has a great future.

Transfer history

Back in August last year, it seemed that Zakharyan’s move to Chelsea was just a matter of time. “Aristocrats” seriously tuned in to the signing of a Russian football player. However, the transfer was constantly delayed and eventually fell through due to the inability to pay compensation.

Chelsea, according to insiders, did not give up hope of signing the Dynamo player and this summer they were still trying to make a transfer. However, it became even more difficult to conclude a contract with the midfielder, because he fell into the sphere of interests of several clubs at once: Feyenoord and Lazio began substantive negotiations with the Moscow team. According to Sky Italia, the Blue and White even gave the green light to Zakharyan’s transfer to Rome.

— The amount of the transaction is 10 million euros plus bonuses. This agreement means that Lazio can now move on to the next important step – discussing personal terms with Zakharyan, Sky Italia said in a statement.

Naturally, London did not want the player they have been trying to sign for a year to be taken away from under their noses. The Aristocrats decided to sign Zakharyan through a subsidiary club, the French Strasbourg, which is also owned by the BlueCo holding. It was expected that for some time Zakharyan would dust himself in France, and then move to England. But this time, Chelsea’s plans fell through: Zakharyan moves to Real Sociedad. According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the amount of the transfer will be 13 million euros plus bonuses.

“Light up in La Liga”

One of the first transfers of the player was confirmed by Dynamo head coach Marcel Lichka. The Czech specialist revealed all the cards before the match of the 4th round of the WORLD RPL with Baltika (2: 0).

“Arsen Zakharyan will be at the stadium today, but we can already say that he is a player of the Spanish club Real Sociedad,” Lichka said before the RPL game against Baltika on the air of the MATCH PREMIER channel.

In Europe, the Sociedad transfer was generally positively assessed. About Zakharyan in the press – the most flattering reviews.

– One of the most promising players in Russian football in recent times. He has class, passing accuracy and the ability to connect to the attack from the depth, – says journalist Roberto Ramajo.

– Zakharyan will change Real Sociedad. He has been regarded as one of the brightest midfield talents in European football for several years now and will now play for a top club in one of the best European leagues,” wrote another columnist John Menzies.

The fans were not left out. They are also waiting with interest for Zakharyan to appear on the field and note his talent.

“Now it will be interesting to watch Sociedad,” writes Alex Goldberg.

— This is a smart transfer! He will become a star, beware! predicts NaturalApartment9828.

“Wow, Sociedad is literally the perfect club and environment for it to grow and develop,” notes fcbxjdb.

“He will light up in La Liga and soon move to Chelsea,” Harvi is convinced.

– The talent of his generation – he will replace David Silva! concludes slxvxid.

INFANTINO: “If there was no FIFA, there would be no football in 150 countries of the world”

FIFA President Gianni Infantino He commented on World Cup ticket prices, saying they reflected “absolutely insane” demand for next summer’s tournament:

“We have six to seven million tickets and in 15 days we received 150 million ticket requests. So every day we have 10 million requests. This shows how strong the World Cup is.”

FIFA has sold just 44 million tickets in almost 100 years of the World Cup. So we were able to sell tickets for the 300th anniversary of the World Cup in two weeks. Just imagine. “This is absolutely crazy.”

Infantino also noted that funds from ticket sales would be reinvested into world football, but did not specify a specific amount:

“The important thing is that the revenue from this goes back into football around the world. If it weren’t for FIFA, there would be no football in 150 countries of the world. Football exists thanks to the revenues we get from the World Cup, and we reinvest that into football around the world.”

Previously, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer called on FIFA to further reduce 2026 World Cup ticket prices.
