UEFA named the names of candidates for the prize of the best player and coach of the season
The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has announced the contenders for the title of best player and coach for the 2022/23 season, the press service of the organization reports.
Three contenders compete for victory in each nomination.
For the title of head coach claim: Josep Guardiola (Manchester City), Simone Inzaghi (Inter) and Luciano Spalletti (ex-coach of Napoli).
The shortlisted contenders for the title of the best player included Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland (both from Manchester City), as well as Lionel Messi (Inter Miami).
The names of the winners will be announced on August 31st.
