The general director of Akhmat, Akhmed Aidamirov, called the reasons for the dismissal of Sergei Tashuev from the post of head coach.

Last week, the Grozny club announced the termination of work with Tashuev by mutual agreement of the parties. Instead, Miroslav Romashchenko was appointed head coach.

Tashuev has headed Akhmat since September 2022. The Grozny club finished fifth in the RPL WORLD last season with 50 points, set a club record for the number of wins (15) and points scored in a 30-round season. In June of this year, a new contract was signed with 64-year-old Tashuev until May 31, 2026.

On Sunday, the Grozny team defeated Orenburg 4-0 at home, having won in the first match under the leadership of Romashchenko. Now Akhmat has 6 points and ninth place in the standings of the current season WORLD RPL. In the next match, Akhmat will play away with Spartak on August 26.
