Any business CSKA lately it has not been given without a fight – last year the “soldiers” campaigned well, but the recruits were late. This time the situation seems to be even more serious: significant losses have been added to the difficulties in the negotiations. And so far there is only one newcomer: Chilean striker Victor Davila will soon play for the rossoblu.
Limitless variety
It is impossible to talk about the serious ambitions of the team, when the main and only borderline function is Anton Zabolotny. At the beginning of this season, the footballer appeared in the starting lineup of the “army” in 6 out of 7 matches (Fyodor Chalov played against Orenburg in the Forward Cup). Not because Anton is an elite finalist, but because there’s no one else to choose from. Remain Adolfo Gaich-Chalov is not taken into account, since Fedotov needs him in the position of insider.
Zabolotny gives excellent volume in off-ball work – he is a hardy performer who is good at pressing. But this is a narrow direction and the attacker does not specialize in converting chances (as paradoxical as this sounds).

So it turns out that Kuchaev, Ermakov, Arbuzov themselves replace Chalov and Mukhin during the match, but are still unable to give an equivalent volume, therefore it is fraught to release them to the base – and this is enough for Fedotov not to overload Fedor, but not enough, to return to their original position. Now the “soldiers” at least this dilemma disappears.
More losses than gains
By the way, Muscovites definitely didn’t get stronger, they even got weaker. Against the background of Victor Davila’s signing, we must not forget the defeats. Chalov is now tied to the insider position, because he failed to keep Jesus Medina before. The Paraguayan could either substitute for the striker and let him go to the edge – or go out to the left so that Fedotov can fit Ivan Oblyakov into a pair of insiders. According to rumors, the problem was that Jesus did not want to play on the side, against this background there was a tense relationship with the coach, and Spartak also offered him a higher salary.
Now another universal soldier Bakhtiyor Zaynutdinov has left for Besiktas. The footballer could close several positions at once, which would reduce tensions with personnel: Bakhtiyor played central defender, appeared as a fullback on the left flank. At the same time, the Kazakh’s profile position is a midfielder (there is a richer selection of players).

This means that there will be no comparable alternative to Chalov in the insider position.
