Guardiola caught the thunderbolt. The most technical player in Europe at Manchester City

Guardiola was tormented by back pain. Josep underwent surgery in Barcelona, the manager will miss Manchester City’s next matches. And his friend and colleague, the director of the Begiritain club, is doing better. Chika will have Belgian Doku in his office. He came to sign a contract. Last season, the winger ranked first in Europe in the number of successful dribbles per 90 minutes. He won with an excellent score of 6.72. Then comes Boga from Atalanta, a former player CSKA Hertha Ejuke.

But the shots by themselves mean little, they do not determine the player’s skill level. For example, the top ten most effective dribblers without Kvaratskhelia. But there is Wirtz from Bayer, who can hardly be compared to Doku, Ejuke, Kudus from Ajax and Saint-Maximin, who left for Saudi Arabia from Newcastle. But the first place does not surprise Doku at all. This boy is made for successful dribbling, as the right-handed 21-year-old is able to work with two feet and is characterized by his high running speed.

The wing is low, with a low center of gravity, which prevents it from being knocked down, stocky and boldly goes into battle. He is not afraid of hard joints, he successfully bunches up and falls to the ground. Three years ago, Doku came to Rennes from Anderlecht for 26 million euros, and some time later, Thierry Henry, the new coach of the French Olympic team and a former assistant of the Belgian team, commented on Jeremy’s main talent:

When you find yourself alone with Doku, there is only one option: to pray.

The legendary Arsenal striker embellishes reality. Like all technical footballers, Doku overestimates dribbling. Therefore, the percentage of truly useful actions after spectacular blows is not very high. For Rennes, Doku played 92 games, scored 12 goals and had 10 assists. The stats aren’t as good as Haaland’s at Borussia D. But Doku isn’t a centre-forward, he has other tasks and a range of actions. As you can see from the stroke map, the beginner plays both sides.

Doku connects the characteristics of Ronaldinho and Seedorf

Long before Bellingham’s move to Real Madrid, analysts had noted that Jude had a similar style to Zidane. Anthropometric characteristics and habits make players similar to each other. Doku, to understand his football nature, can be compared to Ronaldinho: the Brazilian turned in two directions, spreading his legs and making many dance moves, and Seedorf.

Doku at a young age understands that nature has given him the opportunity to go deep, he exploits his ability to hold the ball for a long time. So he plays Messi in adulthood, but the comparison with Lionel does not hold. The Argentine understands the duties of a sniper much better, and also walks the field much more often. Doku runs a lot, which tires him. Cuts with Jeremy playing look better than full games.

A youngster needs to learn to share the ball. Last season in Ligue 1, it was not Messi, but Cabella, the former Krasnodar midfielder who now plays for Lille, who was the first to suffer blows in Ligue 1. It is logical to remember this club, since a small master played there hitting technician, like Doku. Subsequently, Eden Hazard moved to Chelsea, where he became the best player for a while Premier League, champion of England. Can Doc do it?

Meanwhile, the Manchester City rookie has just 30 passes to score in a season where Golovin has 59. But that may be explained by Doku’s injuries. Opponents chose an easy way to stop Jeremy, losing 50 games at Rennes. A big disadvantage, but Guardiola believes that the winger’s body will get stronger, and training at Manchester City will help Doc take less risk by the number of dribbles, relying on shots and passes.

Guardiola stocks up on offensive options

They tried to sign attacking midfielder Paquet from West Ham, but the Brazilian ended up in a scandal. They say that his relatives bet a lot on a yellow card, which the player stupidly earned. An investigation has been launched, if found guilty the player will be punished. The Hammers lost €100m, but Wolves can now gain, as Portuguese midfielder Mateus tops Manchester City’s scout list. His estimate is 60 million euros.

Meanwhile signs Doku. Among the top three, Holland has a favorite partner: friend Grealish. But right after the departure of Marez to the sheikhs there is a choice. Foden, Alvarez and Bernard, who have extended contracts, will be terminated on occasion. But Guardiola needs players of different styles. Doku can be turned into a right fullback in a weird two-handed defensive setup. And if an experienced Walker assures from the shoulders of Jeremy-Kyle he was persuaded to stay, then he will turn out to be a formidable right flank, where a very hardworking Belgian will play.

Guardiola caught the thunderbolt. The most technical player in Europe at Manchester City Doku has many competitors, but if Guardiola listens he can play Premier League without serious injuries, so for 60 million euros Manchester City will have a great master who can add a lot in the next two years, as Vinicius added to Real Madrid. The Belgian has game intelligence, an extreme striker with style. At 21, they rarely play perfect, but Jeremy leaves a strong impression in successful games. Guardiola must do everything to ensure that the youngster has fewer bad games. Manchester City have decided to keep up with the competition, discussing major deals a week before the transfer window closes.

And by summer tradition Premier League Let’s add another story. Docu could end up in Liverpool, like many other players. But not now, but five years ago. The young player was recruited by Gerrard, Wijnaldum and Mane. The winger would have cost the Reds 500 thousand euros. Doku flew to Liverpool with his parents, gave them a tour of the stadium, received an autographed shirt from Salah, spoke to Mignolet, Gerrard and Mane. But the winger was not convinced, Jeremy signed his first contract with Anderlecht, and now he will play for Klopp’s main competitor in recent years.

Vladimir SHARAN: “The Swedes were too weak at the New Year’s table”

For many, the coming year is associated with bright hopes and expectations of changes for the better in life and work. The famous football coach is no exception. Vladimir SharanShared with the reporter Spor.ua Statements about the New Year theme.

– Until what age did you believe in Santa Claus?

– I don’t even remember. Probably up to age six. No more. Until I went to school.

– What is the most unusual New Year celebration in your life?

– The most unusual and extraordinary was the New Year, which I spent in Israel during my stay as a player in the USSR youth team. An international tournament was organized in this country, in which our team participated. It’s plus twenty outside and we’re celebrating the new year in shorts and T-shirts.

The next day we had to play against the Swedish national team in the final. The Swedes sat next to our table on New Year’s Eve, they saw how we relaxed, and how we relaxed. Believe me, we rested much better and played much better (smiles). As it turned out, the Swedes were very weak at the festive table. We won the final match 2-0.

– As a Ukrainian citizen and a football coach, what do you expect from the new year 2026?

– To be honest, everyone is waiting for one thing; peace. And I’m not the only one who can say that. If there is peace, everything will return to normal. I really want the war to end as soon as possible, for people to be free, for parents not to bury their children. This is the most important thing. And as a coach, I expect changes for the better in our football.

I would like the Ukrainian championship to be full-fledged and finally achieve some kind of stability. And also for the Ukrainian national team to successfully pass the World Cup play-off tests and please the fans as often as possible. I also really want the football players in our club to have a good future, to become real football masters, to gain recognition and to be invited to various national teams.
