Players of St. Petersburg “Zenith” (born before 2008) beat Brazilian “Santos” with a score of 3: 1 in the match of the international youth tournament in memory of the honored coach USSR Yuri Morozov. The meeting took place in St. Petersburg.
Zenit and Santos are in group B together with the Belarusian national team and Turkish Fenerbahce. At the top of the table are the Belarusians, who beat the Turks with a score of 6:0, according to Zenit.
Russia, Kazakhstan’s Kairat, Brazil’s Internacional and Serbia’s Red Star play in group A. In the first round, the Russians beat Internacional and Kairat – Red Star. Both matches ended with the score 2:0.
The Morozov Memorial Tournament takes place from August 24 to 27.
