Head coach of Torpedo Pep Clotet barred a player from a match request for an unusual reason.
The Spaniard saw the striker during pre-match training before the match with Neftekhimik Ruslan Chervyakov juggle the ball and smile at the same time. Clotet didn’t like that the player was in good spirits after the two defeats, so the manager decided not to include him in the squad.
