Torpedo is negotiating with Georgy Shchennikov
Moscow “Torpedo” has begun negotiations on the transfer of the former defender of CSKA Georgy Shchennikov, according to Metaratings.ru.
Shchennikov left the army club at the end of the 2022/23 season due to the expiration of the contract.
According to the source, head coach Josep Clotet is interested in signing a flank defender with a striking left foot.
The 32-year-old football player currently has no offers from the MIR RPL, so his transition to Torpedo is possible. He will give his answer shortly.
Shchennikov is a graduate of CSKA. As part of the “red-blue” he played more than 350 matches and won 11 trophies.
