“You should not strictly ask from Rostov, there are practically no leaders in the team” – Korneev

Rostov is trying hard on the field, but it lacks leaders and experienced players, according to Russian coach Igor Korneev.

On Saturday, the team from Rostov-on-Don lost away to PARI NN with a score of 0:1 in the 6th round of the WORLD RPL.

– Here it is hardly possible to ask from the team. Last season, Rostov raised the bar to the skies (fourth place at the end of the RPL season – ed.). But let’s be realistic: this is a group of young guys, there are practically no leaders or those who can go into the locker room, in addition to the coach, and just shove it if necessary.

Apart from Glebov, I don’t see other players who suggest something to someone. Pesyakov, as usual, is busy with his “imports”, and so, there is no one else on the field.

– Yes. Rostov is an interesting project with a lot of young guys, but you shouldn’t ask too harshly. Once again, the team is trying to play, but now it is a little stormy. Fly CSKA and Lokomotiv have reached an agreement in principle on the transfer of the Russian national team midfielder Dmitry Barinov in the army. This was announced by the Director of Communications CSKA Kirill Breido in your Telegram channel.

On 12 January, Lokomotiv announced that Barinov would not attend training camp with the team due to negotiations with CSKA.
