Manchester City forward Erling Holland became the best player of the year according to the professional footballers’ association of the English Premier League.
The Norwegian broke the season goals record last season Premier Leaguescoring 36 goals in 35 matches in the tournament, and also winning the national championship, FA Cup and Champions League with the ‘nationals’.
Forward in the fight for the prize in front of the club partners Kevin DeBruyne AND John Stonesas well as Arsenal representatives Martin Odegard AND Bukayo Saka and former Tottenham player Harry Kane.
Holland became the first foreigner after Ore van Nistelroywho received this award in their debut season in the Premier League. The Dutchman was successful in the 2001/02 season.
