Rostov beat Lokomotiv and topped Group B in the Russian Cup

Rostov defeated Lokomotiv Moscow in the match of the third round of the group stage of the RPL FONBET Path of the Russian Cup.
The meeting took place in Rostov-on-Don and ended with the score 2:1. Egor Golenkov (24) and Ilya Vakhania (37) scored among the winners, Maxim Glushenkov (71) scored the only goal for the guests.
Rostov scored 6 points and came out on top in Group B, ahead of Lokomotiv (6). Also in the quartet are Ural Yekaterinburg (3) and Rubin Kazan (3).
In the next round of the Russian Cup, Rostov will go to visit Rubin, and Lokomotiv will host Ural at home. Both meetings will take place on September 20.
