Former Spain football player Albert Riera said he had never heard of the problems of Russian players with discipline.
Riera is the owner of the UEFA Cup.
— When you worked in Turkey, did you advise Russian players to go there?
— I wanted to see Titov there, but he was already too old, ha ha. If Egor was younger, we would try to sign him. I liked the way Titov played in his time.
— Russian players are often said to be lazy and have discipline problems.
– Seriously? Didn’t know about this. But if there really is such a problem, I would solve it. With me, if they call me to Russia, this will definitely not happen, ”Sport24 quotes Riera.
