The ex-goalkeeper of CSKA believes that Pomazun has more chances to replace Akinfeev in the future than Torop

Former CSKA goalkeeper Valery Novikov believes that the main goalkeeper of the team in the future is likely to be Ilya Pomazun, and not Vladislav Torop.
– Who can replace Akinfeev in the future? Pomazun or Torop?
– At the moment, Pomazun still has more chances – he is the main goalkeeper in Ural, and Torop will soon sit on the bench again, because Akinfeev will return to duty. If the question is raised, how did you formulate it, then, of course, a bet will be made on Pomazun.
However, the main thing here is how much more Igor can play for CSKA. Yes, his contract ends next summer, but I hope that Akinfeev will be able to play for CSKA as long as possible, Novikov told RB Sport.
Pomazun is playing for Ural Yekaterinburg on loan this season, 19-year-old Torop played five matches in the 2022/23 season.
