The Russian national football team will play two matches with the Egyptian Olympic team, according to the website of the Russian Football Union (RFU).
The meetings will be held on September 7 and 11 in the city of Suez. The beginning is at 19:00 Moscow time. Earlier, the head coach of the Russian national team Valery Karpin called 49 players to the training camp, which will begin on September 4 in Novogorsk and last until September 12.
– The age of the players of the Russian team will correspond to the age of the opponent. Due to the fact that many young players born in 2001-2002 have recently been called up to the Russian national team, this will be a good opportunity for them to get more match practice at a high international level, the RFU said in a statement.
