Keita and Nicholson can prove themselves in Europe, says Alexander Mostovoy
Spartak strikers Shamar Nicholson and Keita Balde are able to prove themselves in European clubs, according to former Russian national team player Alexander Mostovoy.
It was revealed on Friday that Nicholson and Balde had joined Clermont and Espanyol on loan respectively.
– There is no question whether Spartak did the right thing by giving Nicholson and Keith on loan. Most likely, both players realized that they would not play for the Red-Whites, so they looked for different options and found them. That year, Balde took the field and even scored, and this season he no longer appeared in the game, Nicholson did the same. So they probably just said they were looking for other options and wanted to leave.
Both Clermont and Espanyol are good options for the guys. This is France and Spain, the more they left for rent. True, Espanyol flew out, but it’s still a club from Barcelona. Plus, taking into account what is happening with our football and no improvements are expected, they can prove themselves and stay in these teams,” Mostovoy told Metaratings.ru.
The match of the 7th round of the WORLD RPL Krasnodar – Spartak will be held on September 2, starting at 20:00 (Moscow time). Watch the live broadcast of the game from 19:55 on the MATCH PREMIER TV channel, as well as on the websites sportbox.ru and matchtv.ru.
