Spartak striker Alexander Sobolev explained what he talked about with the former director of the Moscow club Alexander Shikunov after the match with Krasnodar.

On Saturday, Spartak lost away to Krasnodar with a score of 0:2 in the 7th round of the WORLD RPL. Later, Shikunov, in a conversation with RB Sport, said that Sobolev called him after the match and said about the game: “a nightmare, without moments, in horror.” Shikunov, in his commentary, expressed the opinion that the leadership of Spartak should make a decision on the head coach Guillermo Abascal.

– Alexander Yuryevich and I are on good terms. He called me after the game and we talked a little. I just said that they didn’t play very well and everyone was very upset. We talked exclusively about the game! That’s all! Everything else is his personal opinion. My job now is to train and work! — wrote Sobolev in the Telegram channel.

The Moscow club is 9th in the RPL table with 10 points. Abascal has been heading Spartak since the summer of 2022.
