Zenit head coach Sergei Semak, after a draw with CSKA in the Russian Football Championship match, admitted that he had many questions about the work of referees.

The meeting of the 7th round was held on Sunday and ended with a score of 1:1, Zenit bounced back in the 88th minute. After that, there were several skirmishes between the players of the teams. The chief referee of the meeting, Pavel Kukuyan, showed a total of six yellow cards to the players of both teams.

– Player skirmishes at the end? It was the end of the match, I felt responsible for the result, my emotions were overflowing. The decisions that were made were not always obvious. I think that according to the refereeing they will analyze those moments that are. To intervene or not to interfere VAR… In my opinion, there were very difficult moments. They will figure it out, I don’t want to talk too much about it.

A lot has been said about refereeing. It’s a strange moment when the judges evaluate themselves. The expert-judicial commission evaluates the actions of its own employees, in fact. Therefore, of course, there can be no talk of any justice.

Some interpretations that are absolutely ambiguous in all matters. Why I was sent off (in the game of the 2nd round with Rostov – approx.), I do not understand. Why aren’t the others removed when they come out the same way? Can not understand. The same is the contact in the penalty area: where it is minimal and where it is not. It turns out that judges who favor are shielded, and vice versa – those who are objectionable are punished. Therefore, a lot of questions have accumulated during the championship. I don’t see any sequence, ”Semak said on Match TV.

In the standings, Zenit (14 points) is in second place, CSKA (11) is seventh.
