Zenit midfielder Alexei Sutormin admitted that the players of the St. Petersburg club are following the success of former partner Daler Kuzyaev, who plays for the French Le Havre.
On Sunday, Kuzyaev scored a goal in the match of the 4th round of the French championship with Lorient (3:0).
Daler writes. He gets used to it and gets used to it. We are all rooting for him. I hope he continues to perform just as well. God forbid that he still moved to a bigger club, ”Championship” quotes Sutormin.
In the offseason, Kuzyaev joined Le Havre as a free agent. For the French club, the 30-year-old footballer played four matches and scored two goals.
Kuzyaev played for Zenit St. Petersburg for six years, with which he became the champion of Russia five times (2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22, 2022/23).
