RPL agreed to postpone matches between Sochi and Spartak
The Russian Premier League informed the RFU about the decision taken by the general meeting of clubs to agree on changes to the schedule of the Russian championship, the press service of the RPL reports.
The Spartak-Sochi match as part of the 8th round of the RPL World will take place on September 16 at the Otkritie Bank Arena stadium, and the Sochi-Spartak match will take place in April 2024 as part of the 24th round of the championship.
On September 4, RPL President Alexander Alaev told Match TV that he was in favor of an exchange of circles between Spartak and Sochi, which would allow the match of the 8th round of the WORLD RPL to be held in Moscow.
Earlier, the RPL commission for assessing the quality of football fields recommended not to play at the Fisht home stadium in Sochi for a month.
