Dynamo, CSKA and Krasnodar can compete with Zenit. You can forget about Spartak this season – Arkady Afanasiev

Former Zenit player, USSR champion Arkady Afanasyev named the teams that, in his opinion, will compete this season with the Blue-White-Blues in the fight for the champion title.

After seven rounds in the WORLD RPL table, Krasnodar is in the lead, which is ahead of Zenit by three points.

– The merits of Spartak are presented more by journalists to the public. I watched their match against Zenit and I don’t think the Red-Whites have any pretensions. The fact that Krasnodar beat Spartak in the last round also does not mean anything. They need to beat CSKA, Dynamo, Lokomotiv, and more serious teams first in order to confirm their ambitions.

Dynamo, CSKA and Krasnodar can compete with Zenit, judging by how everything looks at the start. Krasnodar scored the most points. But they haven’t played with Zenit yet. Of the serious rivals, Zenit has met only CSKA so far. All the rest, who were beaten by the Petersburgers, are nobody. And I liked CSKA. Maybe Dynamo will join the race.

– “Spartak” will not claim the title?

– No, you can forget about Spartak this season. Not impressive. More talk. The guys from Zenit beat them in Moscow as if in training. They were a head taller. It happens that the game of the opponents is not going well, but you understand that they can add, “put pressure on”. And the Muscovites, it was clear, can not put pressure. A professional will immediately notice this and appreciate the potential of the team. “Spartak” looks like “Zenith” at the base in Udelnaya trains in games, – quotes the words of Afanasyev “RB Sport”.

Live broadcasts of MIR RPL matches can be watched on the Match TV and MATCH PREMIER TV channels, as well as on matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru websites.
