UEFA Cup winner Pavel Pogrebnyak officially divorced his wife
Former Russian national team forward Pavel Pogrebnyak officially divorced his wife Maria, according to the case file of the Preobrazhensky District Court of Moscow.
In July, the court registered the claim of Maria Pogrebnyak (Shatalova) for divorce. On Thursday, September 7, based on the conclusion of a settlement agreement by the parties, the court made a corresponding decision.
Pavel and Maria officially became spouses in 2009, they are raising three sons.
Pogrebnyak is 39 years old. During his professional football career, he played for Moscow Spartak and Dynamo, Zenit, Tomsk Tom, German Stuttgart, English Fulham and Reading.
As part of the St. Petersburg team, he became the champion of Russia, winner of the UEFA Cup and UEFA Super Cup. He has 33 matches and eight goals for the Russian national team.
