Zenit announced the lease of Izidor with an option to buy
Zenit announced the loan of Lokomotiv forward Wilson Isidore.
According to the Zenit press service, the club from St. Petersburg rented the player until the end of the season with a buyout option.
On Sunday, Lokomotiv announced that Izidor, through his agent, notified the Moscow club that he did not want to return to Russia. Previously, the 23-year-old football player left the country without the consent of the Lokomotiv management and went to France, where, without notifying the “red-greens,” he independently underwent a medical examination in one of the teams. At the same time, the railway workers did not receive offers from France for the transfer of Isidore, which would suit both parties.
“Match TV” reported on September 7 about an agreement between the clubs. According to the source, Izidor told his now former teammates that he was leaving Lokomotiv to “play more.”
