Shchennikov will not play for Torpedo, Lebedenko said
Torpedo forward Igor Lebedenko said that ex-CSKA defender Georgy Shchennikov left the “black and white” side.
At the end of last season, 32-year-old Shchennikov left CSKA due to the expiration of his contract. In September he trained with Torpedo.
— Is Georgy Shchennikov still training with Torpedo?
– Not now. Whether the negotiations are continuing, I don’t know, this is not my area of responsibility,” the Match TV website quotes Lebedenko as saying.
Shchennikov is a graduate of CSKA. He played more than 350 matches for the Red and Blues and won 11 trophies.
