The Dutch national team won a strong-willed victory over the Irish team in the qualifying match for the 2024 European Championship.
The Group B meeting took place in Dublin and ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of the guests. The Dutch responded to Adam Ide’s goal (4th minute, penalty) with precise shots from Cody Gakpo (19, penalty) and Wout Weghorst (56).
In the parallel match of Group E, the Albanian team was stronger than Poland at home – 2:0. Yasir Asani (37) and Rubin forward Mirlind Daku (62) scored among the winners.
In another meeting, the Serbs defeated the Lithuanian team with a score of 3:1. Aleksandar Mitrovic (21, 32, 43) scored a hat-trick for the Serbs; the only goal for the Lithuanians was scored by Gitis Paulauskas (45).
The Greek national team defeated the Gibraltar team at home – 5:0, and the San Marino players lost to Slovenia at home with a large score – 0:4.
