The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has allowed the Russian Football Union (RFU) to hold Russian Cup matches on European Cup days, said RFU Secretary General Maxim Mitrofanov.

The first matches of the group stage of the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League will be held on September 19, 20 and 21. The fourth round of the group stage of the RPL FONBET Russian Cup is scheduled to take place on these same days.
