Torpedo President Yaroslav Savin explained what Alexander Ryazantsev will be responsible for at the Moscow club.
Earlier it became known that Ryazantsev ended his playing career. The capital club announced the appointment of the 37-year-old ex-footballer of the Russian national team as the sports coordinator of the “black and whites”. Ryazantsev has been playing for the automakers since 2019.
— Ryazantsev’s functionality? He will help in several areas – in selection, in the relationship between the coaching staff and players, as well as the coaching staff and the club’s management,” Savin told RB Sport.
Ryazantsev also played for Zenit, Ural, Amkar, Khimki, football club Moscow and Rubin. The midfielder has five matches for the Russian national team.
