Mostovoy: “Why is the emphasis on words about leaving the RPL after an unsuccessful game with Qatar?”
Former midfielder of the Spanish Celta Aleksandr Mostovoy said that the words of the head coach of the Russian national team Valery Karpin about the need for Russian players to leave for the European championships are not news.
Earlier, Karpin, at a press conference after a friendly match between the national teams of Qatar and Russia (1:1), said that Russian players need to leave the RPL for the sake of progress.
— Valery Karpin’s words about players leaving the RPL are not news. Everyone who played in Europe, including me, talked about this many times. So why is there such an emphasis on this only after yesterday’s unsuccessful game with Qatar? Of course, if you want to achieve something, you need to go to Europe. It’s clear that there are great conditions here that can’t be created abroad: our own country, our own language, the salaries are crazy,” Mostovoy told RT.
